  1. If you've ever used a Haynes manual to work on your car, this is the man who got it going. John Harold Haynes passed away February 8th, 2019. https://haynes.com/en-gb/john-harold-haynes-obe-obituary
  2. In the same boat here. Progressive and other auto insurers doing that with their policies always kind of rubbed me the wrong way.
  3. Looks like AutoBlog does have a category for this so we can add it.
  4. Felt this was a bit overwhelming so decided to dial it back with a few selected categories. If you're interested in seeing something, still let us know!
  5. I know something other than gasoline is the future and fully embrace that but an electric truck just seems... weird.
  6. Hey all, we're starting to pipe in some auto news clips into one of our forums to spark conversations around different things happening in the auto industry. Please feel free to reply here what you're interested in seeing (or not seeing) and we can try to tailor some of the news around that. Thanks!
  7. This should be resolved now. Thanks for reporting!
  8. Certainly an interesting Fiero! https://www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/classic-cars/a26009722/fiero-v8-swap-sound-video/
  9. Ironically, Toyota will likely be the one brand that is out. My sister had a RAV4 and thing was nothing but a lemon so unfortunately, my views have been spoiled. BMW may be too pricey but always liked them.
  10. Thanks! Will take a look to see what is happening.
  11. Oh, this is just the short list so far too 😂. All over the board as really my only “needs” are to be relatively new, reliable, comfortable and have 6 cyl or more. No concerns at this point on mpg, seats (I currently own 2 coupes so anything is an upgrade 😆), etc.. Feels so weird as all my other car decisions were instant. Was leaning towards the Buick Regal GS as it would be more fun to drive than an SUV or truck. However, the utility of a truck would certainly counter that too. Was impressed with how far tricks have come. Drove my friends new F150 and did not feel as big as it was. Certainly just need to get in these cars and get a feel for them to start narrowing my list Thanks for the input though!
  12. Excellent ! Please do document the build, would be nice to see 👍. Sounds like you do a lot and have 5 kids, kudos to you my friend! Look forward to see pics of your trucks
  13. Looking to purchase a new vehicle to gain some reliability and durability for some road trips plus be a little fun and maybe some utility. Looking at a sea of different cars, trucks and SUVs. This is literally my first time looking to purchase a vehicle and not know exactly down to the trim what I want. Looking to stay in the GM family of cars but wouldn't really be opposed to something else. Anyone have any experience, feedback or otherwise with any of the below?: Serious list (not a fan of a 4 cyl. Require 6 or more ): Buick Regal GS Chevy Impala GMC Sierra / Chevy Silverado GMC Terrain (only a 4 cyl now ) GMC Canyon Fun list (highly unlikely but hey, if there's a deal): Chevy Corvette Cadillac ATS Cadillac CTS
  14. Personally, I love Adams Polishes’ products. I personally haven’t tried this one but may be something to further explore or see if anyone here has an opinion: https://adamspolishes.com/shop/exterior/polishing/metal-polish-1.html
  15. Welcome! Quite the collection you got there! We love pics. Got any to share?
